In a survey conducted in 2020, to analyze the changing consumer sentiments concerning the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the majority of respondents across all age groups were inclined to not spend on fashion accessories. Interestingly, a significant share of respondents willing to pay more than five thousand rupees on the product category was over the age of forty.
