Agricultural area used for cereals in Algeria 2020, by cereal
In 2020, the agricultural area used for wheat and barley cultivation in Algeria corresponded to approximately 1.8 million and 978 thousand hectares, respectively. These were the largest areas of cereal crops in the country. In 2020, the total cereal production in the country reached around 4.4 million metric tons.
