Around 12 percent of consumers in Japan stated that they were consuming foods with nutrient function claims (FNFC), as revealed in a survey conducted in March 2023. While 28.7 percent of respondents declared their intention to try FNFC products, almost 45 percent stated to have no intention to try them.
