Whereas most Spanish fruit exports have European Union countries as the main destinations, Spain's imports partners are very diverse. Only four EU countries appear in the list of the main countries of origin of the Spanish imports of fruit in 2022, with Portugal as Spain's main partner from Europe.
Imports from the United States, Spain's main import partner, had the highest value at slightly over 583 million U.S dollars in 2022, followed by Morocco and Peru.
