The consumption of oranges, mandarins and lemons in Spanish households has been decreasing since the beginning of the time period analyzed in 2011. Then, the citrus fruit consumption was about 1.3 billion kilograms and reached his highest figure two years later with almost 1.37 billion kilograms. In the last year, slightly over one billion kilograms of citrus fruits were consumed, that is the lowest figure of the entire time period analyzed.
