Milan Stock Exchange: firms listed by market 2022

The number of companies listed the Milan Stock Exchange, otherwise known as the Borsa Italiana, grew significantly between 2000 and 2022. Company numbers peaked in 2021, when nearly 500 companies listed. Of those, the vast majority were listed on the Mercato Telematico Azionario (MTA) market, which is comprised of mid and large-sized companies. The remainder were listed on the AIM Italia, which hosts high-growth small and medium enterprises. As of April 2022, there was a total of 492 companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
