Italy: annual FTSE Italia Small Cap Index 2022

The FTSE Italia Small Cap Index fluctuated between 2004 and 2022, from a peak of 45,467 points in 2006 to a low of 13,421 points in 2012. At the end of May 2022 the index stood at 31,257 points - a decrease of around 1,100 points from the previous year.

The FTSE Italia Small Cap Index is comprised of the companies ranked from 101 onwards traded on the Milan Stock Exchange in terms of market capitalization. It is therefore follows the FTSE MIB Index, which contain the 40 largest Italian companies, and the Italia Mid Cap Index, which is comprised of the companies ranked 61 to 100.
