According to a survey on the future of e-commerce after the COVID-19 pandemic, in Saudi Arabia, apparel, shoes, and accessories were the most purchased category by online shoppers at about 76 percent of respondents. In comparison cleaning products was the most purchased offline category at 88 percent of respondents. Approximately 90 percent of respondents in UAE and Saudi Arabia decreased their spending to prioritize needs over wants following the economic pressures of the pandemic.
