Pressure to use GAFAM services due to lack of European alternatives in France 2021

As the usage of services proposed by the GAFAM companies, a selection of elite American companies in the digital sector, composed of Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft has become inevitable around the world, the source has asked French people if they felt pressured to use these services because they lacked European alternatives on the market. Thus, 70 percent of people agreed with that fact. Furthermore, the source asked the sample if they though that the lack of European alternatives to these companies was due to insufficient means (in terms of companies, services and legislation). Thus, the opinion of the French was quite unanimous that Europe did not lack the means to promote local actors.
