Over half of shoppers intend to use the immediate payment methods of cash and debit cards to do their 2021 holiday shopping. This is roughly double the number of people who plan to use a credit card for their Christmas shopping. Buy now, pay later and traditional layaway options are not finding much popularity among consumers.
