This statistic shows the year-over-year growth in online and offline sales over the course of the Black Friday weekend (from Friday to Cyber Monday) in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2019 to 2021, with a forecast for 2022. Online Black Friday sales grew significantly in 2020 and a further 13.6 percent in 2021. However in 2022 online sales are forecast to fall by more than 11 percent, In contrast, offline Black Friday sales experienced a noticeable fall by 33.7 percent in 2020, likely due to the coronavirus containment measures forcing brick-and-mortar stores to temporarily shut down.
