Import value of meat in Tanzania 2010-2020, by type
The value of meat imports into Tanzania decreased to roughly 10.7 million U.S. dollars in 2020, down from some 11 million U.S. dollars in the previous year. Poultry meat was the most imported type and its import value strongly increased compared to the period between 2010 and 2018. During those years, pig meat was the main imported meat in the country.
