As of February 2022, the highest-ranking apps on the Google Play Store presented an average of 11 screenshots in the app description. Shopping apps featured nine screenshots in their description pages, while gaming apps featured between 17 and 21 screenshots. Screenshots are a useful tool to demonstrate the product to users and entice them to download the app.
