Countries with the highest share of PHAs installed via the Google Play Store 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, installs of potentially harmful applications (PHAs) via the Google Play Store in India represented on average 0.09 percent, down from 0.1 percent recorded during the previous quarter. Installs of PHAs in India reached 0.15 percent of total installs on the platform in the third quarter of 2021. In the same period, Indonesia saw 0.14 percent of PHAs installs, while the United States saw 0.06 percent. Between the first and the second quarter of 2022, PHAs installs peaked in Russia, reaching 0.1 percent of the total.
