As of May 2022, users based in Australia had a 27 percent encounter rate with mobile app threats. By comparison, users located in the United States had the lowest app threat encounter rate among all examined markets, with approximately 1.4 percent of possibility to encounter threats while using their mobile apps of choice. Users in China saw an app threat encounter rate of around 10 percent, while Russian users had a 5.5 percent possibility to run into security threats while using mobile apps.
