Mexico: perception of journalism as a high-risk job 2021

During a survey conducted in Mexico at the end of August 2021, approximately 94 percent of respondents said being a journalist is a high-risk job in the North American country. In mid-2012, the share stood at 74 percent. In 2021, Mexico was the Latin American country where most journalists were killed.
