Trust in news brands in Colombia 2022

During a 2022 survey in Colombia, more than six out of ten responding internet users gave Noticentro 1 CM& - a set of news programs televised by Canal 1 - a score between 6 and 10 on a 10-point trust scale. Approximately 59 percent of respondents expressed trust in regional TV news – such as those broadcast by Bogotá-based City TV and Medellín-based Teleantioquia. The newspapers El Tiempo and El Espectador, deemed trustworthy by 56 and 54 percent of the interviewees respectively, were also the top online news brands in Colombia.
