Leading media used as news sources in Brazil 2022
During a survey carried out in Brazil in early 2022, almost two-thirds (64 percent) of responding internet users said they used social media as a source of news. Approximately 83 percent of respondents mentioned the internet altogether – including social media – while 55 percent listed television as their news source. Over 96 percent of households in Brazil had a TV set in 2019.
