E-commerce share of total Ceconomy AG sales 2014-2021
Ceconomy AG experienced a steady increase in its e-commerce segment in recent years, accounting for 8.12 percent of sales in the 2014/15 financial year to around 13.68 percent in 2018/19. However, it was not until the coronavirus pandemic that the digital channel saw the highest growth. In the 2020/21 financial year, online sales made up more than 32 percent of Ceconomy AG's overall sales.
