In the United States, just over 50 percent of consumers that were in a relationship were expecting to receive a Valentine's Day gift from their significant other in 2023. Americans were also the most likely to be shopping for Valentine's Day that year. In contrast, only a quarter of Germans were expecting a present from their partners on that day.
