Among 50 albums released by Korean artists between January 2021 and September 2022, around 97 percent of them included a CD among the randomized goods included in the album. Other common randomized goods included posters and postcards, at around 48 percent and 27 percent respectively. It is standard for K-pop albums to include various goods such as photocards and posters, which incentivizes fans to buy and collect albums.
