B2B buyers wanting trade credit 2023

Trade credit represented a key factor in business-to-business (B2B) transactions in 2023. According to a worldwide survey, 85 percent of B2B buyers do want to purchase goods and services and postpone the payment to the suppliers. Nearly 60 percent of the surveyed professionals stated to prefer trade credit for big purchases. Over half of B2B buyers scheduling payments to a later moment on a daily or weekly basis purchased online, but the percentage of professionals opting for e-commerce was even higher (65 percent) among the infrequent trade credit users.
