Common actions taken by Chinese consumers before shopping 2023

According to a survey conducted in China in March 2023, reading product reviews on shopping platforms was the most common action taken by consumers before buying a product, with more than 60 percent of respondents choosing that option. By contrast, only 29 percent of respondents would try the product at a physical store first before making any purchase decision.
