
Fukushima nuclear accident: compensation of victims 2011
This statistic represents the amount of compensation paid to households, individuals and farmers as well as fishermen and smaller companies after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in Japan. As of December 2011, TEPCO paid estimated provisional compensation amounts of around 52 billion Japanese yen to affected households. One Japanese yen is approximately equal to 0.013 U.S. dollars.
