Mobile app subscriptions generated the most money, according to a survey of 400 mobile app developers in the United States and the UK. During the June 2019 survey, 56 percent of responding developers stated that they used a subscription model for their apps and 36 percent stated that it generated the most money. However, Freemium apps were ranked closely in second place with a 54 percent usage rate among app developers and 33 percent generating the most revenue via this method.
