This statistic presents information on the popularity of made up words in song lyrics gone mainstream worldwide as of August 2014 in terms of number of streams and tweets. It was found that Drake's made up word "YOLO", an acronym for "you only live once" in the song "The Motto" has been streamed on demand more than 53.6 million times and shared on Twitter for over 65.1 million times.
