Leading paid attractions in North West England 2019-2021, by attendance
The Chester Zoo was the most visited paid attraction in the North West region of England in 2021, welcoming roughly 1.6 million visitors. While attendance at the renowned attraction increased by around 35 percent compared to the first year of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of visits stayed below pre-pandemic levels.
