Share of various media used as a news source in Finland 2017-2019, by media type

In 2019, television news channels were still the main source of news in Finland, with the share of 65 percent of respondents regularly following TV news. Newspapers' websites and apps were used as news sources almost as often, by the share of 63 percent of the respondents. However, the use of TV and newspaper websites as news sources steadily decreased similarly to any other media type in the survey period from 2017 to 2019.
