From 2021 to 2022, the average daily time spent watching television in the Netherlands decreased by 16 minutes. The years between 2018 and 2020 seemed to mark a stabilization after viewing times decreased for several years in a row, and the time spent watching TV even grew in 2020, presumably due to the coronavirus pandemic with people staying at home.
