It can be seen that 54 percent of respondents in Romania felt that joining the euro area would have mostly positive consequences for their country. Hungary also had a large share of respondents stating that the consequences of joining the euro would be positive, a share of 51 percent. On the other hand, one third (33 percent) of respondents in the Czech Republic felt that joining the euro would bring mostly positive consequences as of April 2018.
