Customers opinion on what makes a good supermarket in the Netherlands in 2020
As of 2020, the majority of consumers surveyed in the Netherlands indicated that they considered the price of products and the distance to the supermarket to be among the key aspects of a good supermarket. Close to 41 percent of people surveyed in 2020 indicated that price was an important factor for them, while a further 38 percent of respondents focused on the distance they needed to travel. Meanwhile, just 10 percent of respondents considered it important to have fresh bread available until closing time.
