Leading online activities ever carried out in the United Kingdom (UK) 2017 This statistic illustrates the findings of a survey on the leading online activities in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. In 2017, it was found that 68 percent of responding internet users reported that they had ever browsed the internet in order to search for leisure information, including information on cinema and live music. Second most widely carried out activity was online price comparisons and researching reviews, with 64 percent of respondents. During the survey wave in 2015, respondents were asked about online activities carried out at least weekly. Of respondents in the prior year, 39 percent reported searching for leisure information weekly.
