Leading app categories in the UK Q3 2020, by reach
According to a survey of internet users in the United Kingdom conducted during the third quarter of 2020, social networking apps were the leading apps by reach, with 88.7 percent of the country's digital population using this app category. Chat apps had a similarly high reach with approximately 88.6 percent of the internet users in the country sending instant messages on apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. Shopping apps followed, with a 70 percent reach in the examined period.
