In the United States in 2021, companies in the training industry were asked to report on their projected outsourcing activities. A total six percent of training companies active in the U.S. American market declared planning to increase the outsourcing of their LMS operations or hosting. Almost 60 percent of these companies reported not wanting to or not intending to outsource learner support training in the future, and almost half reported expecting the same level of outsourcing for training instruction or facilitation.
