Reasons why the training industry budget decreased U.S. 2023
In 2023, corporations and educational institutions based in the United States were asked to report on the reasons behind the decrease in the training budget that year. According to the survey conducted, the largest share of respondents stated that their training budget decreased as a result of budget cuts due to economic uncertainty. This was followed by the next largest share of respondents claiming that reduced training staff was the reason for the training budget decrease. The third place ranking was completed by respondents who claimed that they attended fewer outside learning events such as conferences and seminars.
