Leading venture capitalist firms with European unicorns 2020
Index Ventures, a UK based venture capital firm, was the global venture capital firm with the highest number of European unicorns in their portfolio as of January 2020. This included Skype, Adyen and Slack. Northzone and HV Holtzbrinck Ventures both had six unicorns in their investment portfolios. Unicorns are private companies with a valuation of at least one billion U.S. dollars.
