Number of companies with venture capital investment in CEE 2007-2022

Despite 2017 seeing a decrease in the number of new companies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) receiving venture capital investment, overall the figures have grown from 2009 onwards. 2021 saw the highest number of companies receiving venture capital investment with a total of 541, before declining again in 2022.
