Distribution of venture capital divestment value in CEE 2016-2017, by exit type This statistic illustrates the distribution of venture capital divestment value in Central and Eastern Europe in 2016 and 2017, by exit route. In both years displayed the exit route which saw the highest distribution of venture capital divestment value was via trade sales. In 2017, trade sales saw a share of just over 66 percent of the total value of venture capital exits, an increase of six percent from the previous year. Unfortunately for venture capital investment companies the percentage of exits that were write-offs also increased between the two years, amounting to 12.6 percent in 2017.
