Number of companies that received venture and capital investment in CEE 2007-2020
Despite 2017 seeing a decrease in the number of new companies receiving venture capital investment in Central and Eastern Europe, overall the figures have grown from 2009 onwards. 2020 saw the highest number of companies receiving venture capital investment with a total of 474. 171 of these were companies that were at there start-up stage as opposed to 274 which were at seed stage and a further 33 at later stage venture.
