Of the more than 50 thousand hectares covered by organic crops in Mexico in 2018, area cultivated with coffee was the largest, with more than 23 thousand hectares. Avocado followed, with less than half the area covered by coffee plantations. In that year, mango and watermelon were also among the most cultivated organic products in the North American country.
