Transactions that have not generated expected return on investment US 2017 This statistic illustrates the share of merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions in the past two years that have not generated an expected return on investment (ROI) in the United States (US) in 2017. It can be seen that 51 percent of corporate executives stated that between one percent and 25 percent of M&A transactions in the past two years have not generated their expected value or return on investment, whilst six percent of corporate executives stated that between 76 percent and 100 percent of the transactions in the past two years have not generated expected return on investment.
