Number of cinema screens at Cineplex S.A. (Cineplanet) movie theaters 2013-2022
At the end of the first quarter of 2022, movie theaters operated by Cineplex S.A. collectively had 314 cinema screens, up from 265 in 2017. That represents an increase of 18.5 percent over half a decade. The company, also known as Cineplanet, is run by Grupo Intercorp in Lima, Peru. It also operates in Chile. At the end of 2021, Cineplanet was the leading movie exhibitor in Peru by share of the market's revenue.
