Cinema attendance in Peru 2015-2022
In 2022, movie theaters in Peru sold 29.7 million tickets, up from 7.6 million in the previous year – an annual increase of over 290 percent. However, compared to the cinema attendance of 53.4 million recorded before the pandemic, in 2019, there was a decline of about 44 percent. Still, Peru ranked fifth by cinema attendance in Latin America in 2022.
