During the fiscal year 2022/2023, roughly 67 percent of visitors to museums sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) n England were from the United Kingdom. The previous year, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on international tourism, only around eight percent of visits to the museums came from overseas visitors.
