Jeremy Corbyn currently finds himself in the midst of a series of scandals surrounding the alleged endemic antisemitism in the Labour Party. Last night, Jewish organisations staged a protest outside parliament, the participants of which included a number of Labour MPs and peers, demanding action to "drain the political sewer".
Away from the world of politics, antsemitism is also far from extinct among the general public. Figures from Community Security Trust show a marked increase in recorded incidents over the last few years. In 2012 there were 650 and last year this had more than doubled to 1,382.
