Share of Canadians gift shopping on Boxing Day by region 2020

As of October 2020, just under a quarter of consumers in the Canadian province of Ontario were planning to shop online for holiday gifts during Boxing Day/Week. While a slight increase (compared to 2019) had been recorded in online shopping plans for certain provinces, such as Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec, fewer consumers in the whole country were planning to go to physical stores during this year's Boxing Day.
