In 2021, in France, nano-influencers - the ones with a following base between 1,000 and 5,000 followers - had the highest engagement rate of 5.8 percent. Micro-influencers - with between 5,000 and 20,000 followers - were second, with an engagement rate of 2.9 percent in that year.
