Italy: leading VoD platforms by geographical area 2020

This statistic depicts the leading five video on demand platforms in Italy as of January 2020. According to the results of a poll, Amazon Prime Video was the most popular platform, although with regional differences. 43 percent of respondents living in the North-West of the country subscribed to the video on demand service offered by Amazon in the previous 12 months, while only 36 percent of the users living in the Islands did the same.
Netflix was the second most favorite platform, while Sky Online was used more in the North-West of Italy, with 12 percent of respondents.
