In 2021, Netflix had the largest amount of subscribers among subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platforms in Eastern Europe, at over 5.8 million. In 2027, it was forecast to remain in the leading position, counting nearly 8.2 million users. A tremendous increase in subscriptions was predicted for Disney+, which would have approximately 4.7 million subscribers in the region in 2027.
