Volume of articles by delivery time after the Covid-19 outbreak France

After the outbreak of the coronavirus and the announcement of the confinement in France in March 2020, the source had analysed the volume of articles bought on different marketplaces according to their delivery time delay. Between 6 and 12 of April that year, Darty's 51 percent volume of products had a delivery time of less than five days. For Veepee, 97 percent of the delivery times exceeded 10 days.

The source adds the following information: " The online sales made in France were studied during the weeks from March 2 to 8 (reference week) and subsequent weeks. The variations were calculated by taking the index of 1.0 the week of March 2-8 and comparing it to sales made the week before. Unless otherwise stated, the indices are based on the turnover of the various online players (except food, in number of orders), based on the panel of 500,000 digital consumers in Europe.
